Community gardens - often created from unused or neglected spaces - bring people of all ages and backgrounds together to grow their own produce, improve the environment, enjoy the outdoors, share skills and make friends. 

GIA advises many community gardens across East Sussex: everything from advice on vegetable growing, compost and raised beds through to land leases, risk assessments and insurance.
