Community Gardens

Community gardens - often created from unused or neglected spaces - bring people of all ages and backgrounds together to grow their own produce, enjoy the outdoors, share skills and make friends.

GIA advises many community gardens across East Sussex: everything from advice on vegetable growing, compost and raised beds through to land leases, risk assessments and insurance. We're delighted to be working with the Sussex Community Development Association to develop our Growing Communities Toolkit - a resource for community gardeners.
